Handyman Technicians are screened, licensed, bonded and insured to protect Senior Citizens

We hire only local plumbers, electricians, painters, HVAC specialists and other contractors who live in the area. Our Technicians must complete our training program in helping seniors stay safe in their homes. Our specialized training program includes training for making safety-oriented repairs as well as working with seniors who may be faced with common ailments such as mobility problems or dementia. Our Handyman Technicians are employees, not sub-contractors.

All of our employees must pass a rigorous background and screening process that includes a criminal background check, a motor vehicle records check and civil violations check. All Handyman Technicians are licensed, bonded and insured.

Handyman Technicians are trained in safety and common senior health problems

Our Handyman Technicians are specially trained in working with seniors and helping them stay safe in their homes. Technicians must complete our Working with Seniors Seminar before being sent on service calls and be well-versed in OSHA and ADA compliance.

Handyman Senior Care’s Quality Assurance program is designed to track the quality of all work performed by our Technicians. We perform weekly quality checks by phone as well as in the home. These ongoing assurance checks ensure consistent, quality services for our senior, elderly and disabled clients.
